Sharh Thamiri bar Fusul-e-Akbari is an elementary Urdu guide to Arabic morphology, explaining the defining properties of twenty-two chapters with examples.

Sharh Thamiri bar Fusul-e-Akbari is an elementary book of Arabic morphology. It was written after the author found that beginners could memorise the names and patterns of the traditional chapters yet still struggle to explain what distinguished one chapter from another. His answer is to teach each chapter through its defining properties.

The arrangement covers twenty-two chapters. It begins with the six chapters of thulathi mujarrad, then twelve of thulathi mazid, and closes with the four chapters of rubaʿi. The contents name the property under which each is taught: the characteristic of nasara, daraba, samiʿa, fataha, karuma and hasiba; then the meanings and uses of the augmented forms, including causation, reflexivity, seeking, reciprocity and exaggeration.

The book is deliberately brief and practical. Its preface says that examples are kept simple so a new student can understand the distinction, while the closing note corrects a point where a form may also carry an intensive meaning.
