Khulasat al-Talil is a short teaching book on Arabic morphology. It takes the rules of taʿlīl (the changes made to weak letters in conjugation) and sets them out in Urdu for students who have learned the forms but still need to see how a rule is applied to a word.
The arrangement is practical. Definitions and rules are followed by conjugation patterns, worked changes and tables, then by exercises. Its opening commendations single out the plain language and the way the book brings the principles and their application together instead of leaving a beginner to infer one from the other.
The title page prints the author under his earlier scholarly name, Thamiruddin Husami Gadawi. The same title appears in his own later bibliography. The printed book was issued by Kutub Khana Numaniya, Deoband.
