Seerat-e-Tayyiba Hazrat Isa is an Urdu seerah of Jesus based on the Qur'an and hadith, covering his birth, miracles, ascension and return before the Last Day.
Seerat-e-Tayyiba Hazrat Isa is a concise Urdu life of Jesus, peace be upon him, written for pupils in European and American schools who encounter Christian beliefs about him. The author’s preface says that the purpose is to set out the Islamic account in straightforward language from the Qur’an and sound hadith.
The book begins with his birth without a father and rejects the story that Mary, peace be upon her, needed Joseph the carpenter’s help. It follows with his speech in the cradle, his life with his mother, the Gospel given to him and his miracles. The middle chapters cover the plot against him, his being raised alive, and the author’s explanation that neither crucifixion nor burial took place.
The final third turns to the future: the appearance of the Dajjal and the Mahdi, the return of Jesus, the defeat of the Dajjal, peace throughout the world, marriage and children, his rule and his death. The last section places these events among the signs before the Day of Judgement.
The preface is dated 15 October 1999 in Manchester. The scanned edition was printed at Jameah Islamiyah, Manchester.
