The English edition of Thamarat al-Mirath, printed as Thamratul Meeraath, with the translation edited by Mufti Afzal Hoosen Elias.
It is the whole book: the four kinds of calculation, the conditions of the fourteen heirs with the proof for each from the Qurʾān and the hadith, and the twenty-four worked questions (seven on radd, four on ʿawl, one on munāsakha), each answered in five parts, so that the division of the estate, the division of the property, and the working of radd are all shown rather than asserted.
The author’s account of why he wrote it is translated in full at the front, and the twelve-point list of what the book does is printed at the back.
