Huzur ki Zindagi Ek Nazar mein is a single-page table of seventeen dates from the life of the Prophet, from his birth to his passing, each one given twice: in the Hijri calendar and in the Gregorian one worked out to the day. It is a reference sheet rather than an essay.

One page, three columns: the event, its date in the Hijri calendar, and its date in the Gregorian one. It is the shortest thing in this collection and among the most useful, because the second column is the part almost no other chronology supplies to the day.

It begins at 12 Rabīʿ al-Awwal, 53 BH (22 April 571, a Monday) and ends at 12 Rabīʿ al-Awwal, 11 AH (8 June 632, a Monday), and between those two it gives the marriage to Khadījah, the beginning of prophethood, her passing, the marriages to Sawdah and to ʿĀʾishah and the latter’s rukhsatī, the start of the Hijrah and the first stay in Madīnah, then Badr, Uḥud, Khandaq, Tabūk, the conquest of Makkah and the Ḥajj.

The two ends of it are his own calculation, not a copied date, which is the reason the table exists at all: the birth and the passing are worked from the calendar rather than repeated from the usual books, and they are the two rows a reader should look at first.

The fifteen years of dates worked the same way are in the calendar for England, and the sixty-three years of his life are set out at length in the Thamiri Calendar.
