How to Live in a Democratic Country is an English edition of forty-five points on peaceful Muslim life in India and the East, translated by Mufti Amjad M Mohammed.
The English edition for India and the East, translated and edited by Mufti Amjad M Mohammed. Like the regional Urdu edition, it changes the setting of the opening while retaining the same forty-five subjects as the Britain book: coexistence, justice, law, taxes, public conduct, relations across religions, wartime limits and migration.
The title page describes it as a study of how Muslims can integrate and coexist peacefully in non-Muslim lands, especially India, based on the Qur’an and hadith. Its own address and pagination are preserved here, while the library groups it with the other three forms of the work.
