The Bengali edition of Hanafiyya ka Maslak Ihtiyat par Hai, translated from the Urdu by Enamul Haque Masud, who also translated Thamarat al-Aqaid into Bengali, and edited by Mawlana Abu Labib Muhammad Yunus. It was first published in September 2024 by Al-Ikhlas Publication under the title Hanafi Majhaber Shreshthatta, the excellence of the Hanafi school.
It opens as the Urdu does, with the eight rules the author set himself, a word from the publisher, the translator and the editor, and then the questions themselves: raising the hands in prayer, reciting behind the imam, āmīn aloud or quietly, tarāwīḥ, the funeral prayer, and on to qurbānī. Under each one the hadiths of both sides stand together, drawn from twelve primary collections.
For a Bengali reader this is the whole book, in the same order and by the same method.
