The English edition of Hanafiyya ka Maslak Ihtiyat par Hai, translated from the Urdu by Dr Mufti Muhammadullah Khalili Qasmi and published by Maktaba Sameer of Manchester in 2024 / 1445. Its own title is Hanafi Fiqh is Closer to the Quran and Hadith.
It carries twenty-eight questions: raising the hands in prayer, reciting Fātiḥa behind the imam, saying āmīn aloud, twenty rakʿahs of tarāwīḥ or eight, three days of qurbānī or four. Under each one are the hadiths of both sides, referenced from twelve primary collections and no others.
The preface makes the case the whole book exists for: that the rulings of al-Hidāyah and al-Qudūrī are supported by hadith rather than by reasoning alone, and that the hadiths are there to be produced whenever anyone says otherwise. The apparatus it draws on is his own: Athmar al-Hidayah and al-Sharh al-Thamiri, which give three hadiths for every ruling of those two books.
For a reader with no Urdu this is the whole of it, in the same order and by the same method.
